Verso One terms of use and sale

Version of October 30, 2026. Replaces the version of October 24, 2026.

In short

• Verso One is free to use, with no account and no time limit. No ads and no watermark.
• Founder is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, with 500 seats and lifetime updates. It unlocks the Pro features on 3 computers and works for 30 days without internet.
• Your files are yours. Opening, saving a copy and exporting your work always works, with or without a paid license.
• You have 7 days to change your mind about a purchase and get your money back.
• We do not promise dates for future features. You pay for what exists today.

1. Who makes it and who sells it

Verso One is an Efficier product, made by Pedro Vitoriano, in Manaus (Amazonas, Brazil). Contact: contato@efficier.com.

The sale is made by Paddle. The purchase is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the seller (Merchant of Record) of every order: it charges you, issues the receipt and takes care of the taxes on the sale. Support for Verso One stays with us.

2. Free use

• You can install and use Verso One for free, for personal and professional use, on as many computers as you like.
• Free use does not need an account. Only the searches and downloads described in the privacy policy use the internet.
• What is free and what is paid is marked in the app before you use it. Nothing turns out to be paid after the work is done.

3. Pro features

• What it is: a license that unlocks the features marked as Pro in the app: the studios (music, video, book, animation and document with media), screen recording and capture, adding subtitles, connecting an outside AI to the app and running code (terminal, notebook and run file).
• Computers: the same license works on 3 computers at the same time. To use it on another one, sign out on one of them, in the app itself (up to 5 times every 30 days).
• Without internet: the Pro features work for up to 30 days without contacting the server. After that, only they pause until you connect again. Nothing is lost: your files still open and export, and all free use continues.
• 14-day trial: you can try Pro once per account and per computer, with no card. At the end, it simply goes back to free mode; you are not charged. During the trial, the app must contact the server at least every 7 days.
• Access codes: a code given by us unlocks what it says, for as long as it says. It cannot be sold.

4. Founder license

• What it is: a one-time purchase, for US$29, that unlocks the Pro features. No recurring charges.
• Seats: there are 500 in total. When they run out, the Founder license stops being sold. People who already bought lose nothing.
• Lifetime updates: you get every version of Verso One for as long as it is updated, with nothing more to pay. If updates stop, the version you have stays yours. Services with ongoing costs, such as AI credits, if they ever exist, are not included.
• Buying the Founder license is buying a product, delivered right away. It is not an investment: you do not receive ownership, shares, a part of the profit, interest or any cash return. It is not a donation: it is a purchase, with all consumer rights, including the 7 days to change your mind.

5. Teams

Companies buy seats per person, with the price on request at contato@efficier.com. The person who manages the team invites people with a code and sees the email of each person who joined and since when. Each person is told this before accepting. Seats, people leaving and refunds follow the team contract.

6. Price and payment

• The price is shown in US dollars, with the total, before you pay. If anything extra applies, it is shown separately beforehand.
• Payment is made on the Paddle page, using the methods shown there. Your card details do not pass through us.
• Before paying, you see a summary of the purchase. Afterwards, you receive the confirmation and the receipt by email.

7. Changing your mind within 7 days

• You can cancel a purchase within 7 days after making it, without giving a reason (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, art. 49).
• How: by email at contato@efficier.com or through the link in the Paddle receipt.
• We refund the full amount paid, by the same payment method. The details are in the refund policy.
• When you cancel, the license from that purchase stops being valid. Your files stay yours, and free use continues.

8. What we do not promise

• We do not promise a date for any future feature. What we announce as "coming soon" is an intention, not an offer. You pay for what exists at the time of purchase.
• Server availability: the server is used to activate the license, renew it from time to time and download updates. If it goes down, the app keeps working, including the Pro features, for the 30 days without internet.

9. Your files

• Everything you open, create or edit is yours. We claim no rights over it.
• No file is held hostage: without a license, without an account or without internet, you can always open, save a copy and export what you did.
• Keep a copy of important files before editing them. Formats from other programs can have differences.

10. Warranty and liability

• We fix the defects in Verso One that are ours. You have the warranty that the Código de Defesa do Consumidor (Consumer Protection Code) gives (art. 26) and the other consumer rights, which these terms cannot take away.
• We are not responsible for loss caused by use outside these terms, by third-party programs or by files that were damaged before reaching Verso One.

11. Permitted use

• You receive a license to use the program (Lei 9.609/1998, the Brazilian Software Law). The code and the Verso One brand remain ours.
• Not allowed: getting around the license, reselling licenses or codes, or using Verso One to break the law or the rights of other people.
• If that happens, we may deactivate the license involved, after warning you and hearing from you, except in cases of obvious fraud.
• Verso One uses libraries, fonts and sounds by other authors, each under its own license (Settings › About and licenses).

12. Age

• Anyone can use the free mode.
• To buy or create an account, you must be 18. Under that age, a parent or guardian buys and manages the account.

13. Support and contact

• contato@efficier.com or, in the app, the ··· menu › Report a problem.
• We reply within 5 days.

14. Changes to these terms

• We tell you beforehand, on the what's new screen and, if you have an account, by email, at least 15 days ahead.
• A change to the terms does not take away what you have already bought.

15. Law and jurisdiction

• The laws of Brazil apply.
• If you are a consumer, you can bring a lawsuit in the courts of your city (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, art. 101, I).
